As I type this, I am enjoying a very flavored, sweet rose tea, that somehow reminds me of a place I never visited, Porto. Ana‘s handwriting is elegant, even-spaced, and she shares her dreams and plans for the future, her challenges as a freelance artist and her passion for postcards.
I got the package in the mail yesterday night and I wanted to wait until daylight to open it and enjoy it. It felt like it deserves all the light it can get. But in the meantime, I got to know Ana‘s handwriting on the envelope and enjoy the little birdie bringing good news.
The letter was full of goodies, as I imagined. Two beautiful semi-precious stones for my jewelry projects, in beautiful, beautiful colors. A natural treasure with three lovely flowers.
Many, many beautiful postcards. Some of them already found their place on my inspiration board. And a little blue package, carefully wrapped. Can you guess what’s there?
A beautiful handmade owl, of course.
Ana made me and my mailbox really, really happy. And, as she said in her beautiful letter, now I am glad that we forgot snail mail to discover the internet and each other and then rediscover snail mail to exchange such beautiful treasures.
The rose tea is expecting me. I hope you have something beautiful waiting for you, today, as well.
